Yellowstone Week 7 / 9:19 AM

This is long overdue. Oops!

Dawn and I got lucky and managed to make an 'appointment' with the bellhop to bring us up to Crow's Nest! The structure of Old Faithful Inn is really unique and there's a little tree house at the top of the inn (just because the architect always wanted one when he was young). And just after the tree house, you can go out to the top of the inn where there's a platform and all the flags are hung up there. Plus, there's an amazing view of the Old Faithful Geyser - there was a rainbow next to it when it erupted this time!

KL was going to go to Bozeman to get his camera fixed, and being the nice guy that he is, he brought me, Dawn, Sze Ying, Kai Lun, Louise, Sylvia and Diana along to shop.. We first dropped by West Yellowstone since some of them have not been there before. Reached Bozeman slightly after lunch time and we were starving! KL did his research and brought us to Watanabe Japanese restaurant. The food tasted really authentic and yums! It tasted like the best meal we ever had after having to eat EDR food for 6 weeks! :D

After lunch, our shopping spree began! We went to Target, Ross, the Gallatin Mall and also Walmart. Shopping at Ross was really good because the prices are as good as factory outlets, or even better! And the mall had lots of nice things as well but I didn't have time to browse through all of them. Sigh. Our initial plan of leaving Bozeman by 7pm got scrapped because we spent a little too much time shopping.. Heh. In the end we only got back to the park at 2am! Must really thank KL for being so patient with us ;)

And on one of my more relaxed day at work where I was only working breakfast shift, I went to Canyon with Michelle, Jenean and Taina! We went to see the Upper Falls and Lower Falls - which were freaking grand. Especially the Lower Falls. It looks so fake on camera! We went to Artist Point to view the Lower Falls, and we also took Uncle Tom's Trail to get another view of it. Bloody trail was 350 steps long descending! Imagine how tiring it was when we had to go back up!
